I don't watch a lot of anime despite my peers, in fact I consider myself an outlier and a minority, to the point where I don't even consider myself an anime fan.

tbh I don't get why people glaze Evangelion or lain. the both are phycological but i think they are only surfaces level when it comes to Human nature and mentality

i watched it like 2years ago so i dont recall much from the plot the only thing i can remember is i didnt anything and it felt shallow like it just throws random sybolic things in order for the fans who want to seem deep to make a coherent storyline thats wasnt intentional at all same with evangelion the creators literally admitted they just put aesthetic things in their show because they thought it looked cool
